Diana in Print
The WISENet Journal was very important to Diana. She has been featured in a number of articles and contributed many more. The most recent – Shipping News – appeared in J71 (2006) and detailed Diana’s reflections on changing means of travel and taking higher degrees. A profile of Diana was published in 1991 (J26) and updated in 1999 (J50) when she received the Order of Australia (AM). Diana also regularly contributed a column called “Women Achieving Recognition in Science” that highlighted the successes of women in science – from awards and promotions for individuals to advances affecting all women in science.
