ACT Women Honoured by the Academy
|
Earlier this year three women scientists from the ACT were honoured by the Australian Academy of Science.
Professor Jennifer Graves from ANU’s Research School of Biological Sciences (RSBS) was awarded the MacFarlane Burnet Medal. Also from RSBS, Professor Susanne von Caemmerer was elected Fellow of the Australian Academy of Sciences. In addition, Dr Mahananda Dasgupta from ANU’s Research School of Physical Sciences and Engineering was awarded the Pawsey medal.
WISENET congratulates all three on their wonderful achievements. These awards are all prized distinctions that reflect the highest regard of one’s peers in the scientific community, and are recognitions of very distinctive and deep scientific accomplishments.
