Promotion of Cultural Change to Improve Diversity in Engineering
The Women in Engineering Panel of
the Western Australian Division of Engineers, Australia (formerly IEAust) will
hold a one day skills development workshop for women in engineering, in Perth
on 5th March 2004. The “Leading the Change” workshop is sponsored by Alcoa.
Marie Finlay and Linley Lord are the workshop presenters. Women attending will
develop their leadership skills and learn strategies and techniques to bring
about change. Sue Murphy from Clough Engineering will speak as a role model.
The March workshop is fully booked. Women engineers can register their
interest in attending future presentations of the workshop in Perth and other
