WISENET Annual General Meeting

Wednesday 12 April, 2000

The AGM is at Studio 2, K-Mart Learning Centre, Level 3, Powerhouse Museum, 500 Harris St., Ultimo

5:30pm on Wednesday, 12 April.

The meeting will start with a talk by Christine Cowrie (NSW Dept of Health), followed by a short formal AGM at 6pm. At 6:30pm we will have a combined meeting with Women in Water to discuss areas of common interest including a joint involvement in providing speakers for the Powerhouse "Science is for Girls" program following National Science week on Monday the 15th and Tuesday the 16th of May.

The theme of the program is 'Eternal Life' and will include speakers on areas such as sustainability, the environment, biotechnology, astronomy, genetics and biochemistry.
