Dear WISENET Queensland,

Susan Bengtson-Nash

Thanks again to Sarah Ashmore for staying three years in the ‘temporary’ position of WISENET Qld. Link Group Convenor. It made a big difference to have someone in the role when I started as National Convenor and I would like to express my great appreciation.

I was delighted when Susan Bengtson-Nash recently accepted an invitation to take over the role.

Susan has just returned from a short visit to Denmark where her parents live and is presently completing her doctoral thesis at the University of Queensland. In her Honours year, Susan looked at persistent organic pollutants and sexual dysfunction in harbour porpoises. Her doctoral studies focus on the development of a bioassay for the detection of herbicides in water. Susan advised me that she will contact WISENET Qld. after submission of her thesis and grant applications. I know you will all give her your very warm welcome and support.
