Job
Opportunities: GIS operator, spatial data manager, professional
officer (GIS), survey operations team leader, GIS or CAD technician,
GIS officer (spatial information)
Entry
Requirements: You must have:
- an ACT Year 12 Certificate (or equivalent)
OR
- a Certificate III in Spatial Information Services (or
equivalent).
Selection
Criteria: You will be given preference if you:
- have successfully completed a T-Minor in Year 12 English,
mathematics and computing subjects (completion of subjects involving
the use of spatial data is an advantage)
- have relevant work experience or interest in the spatial information
industry.

Process:
1. An assessment of your previous educational record, work or other
relevant experience and interest in the field as identified on the
application form.
2. Where appropriate, an assessment will be made of your potential to
successfully complete the program and achieve the standards required
for employment in the industry. This will be done through either an
interview or your written personal statement.
