The 15th International Conference for Women Engineers and Scientists will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from 19-22 July 2011. The Conference is hosted by the National Committee for Women  in Engineering, Engineers Australia and the International Network of  Women Engineers and Scientists (INWES).

The theme of the Conference is

Leadership, Innovation, Sustainability

The Conference will have the following major streams:

  • Attracting, developing and retaining women engineers and scientists,

  •  Outstanding practice models of industry commitment to diversity and equality in the workplace,

  • Achievements, innovations and research in the various fields of engineering, science and technology,

  • New ideas and solutions to contemporary problems including climatechange, water, energy and sustainability.


The call for papers is now open and will close on 1st December 2010.
